Mouth Guards

Mouth guards should be used by anyone who plays contact sports such as:

- football

- soccer

- basketball

- ice hockey

- lacrosse

Even those participating in noncontact sports can benefit from a mouth guard.

There are three types of Mouthguards:

Stock mouth protectors – preformed and ready to wear. Inexpensive, but bulky and provide the least protection.
Boil and bite mouth protectors – Readily available, made from a thermoplastic material that molds to mouth for a better fit.
Custom-fitted mouth protectors – Provides most comfort, best fit and protection. Most Expensive.

  1. Maintaining a good dental health requires choosing a dentist that suits the specific needs of you and your family. All dentists provide services that are related to the maintenance of oral hygiene and dental health as with Pediatric Dentists.
